For the occasion of the research seminar by SISSCO (Italian Society for the Study of Contemporary History), dedicated to the “Living during the boom. Home, family and food in the economic miracle years”, Turin University is hosting the third and last meeting of its project, titled Houses. Reality, depiction, dreams, in collaboration with the Turin University Dams, Home Movies –National Archive of Family Films and the National Cinema Museum.
This studies day in Turin will end on Monday 27 March, at 8.30 p.m. on Screen Three at the Cinema Massimo, with the screening of the episodes Renzo & Luciana (Mario Monicelli, ep. from Boccaccio ‘70, 1962), Il pollo ruspante/ Free-range chicken (Ugo Gregoretti, ep. from Ro.Go.Pa.G., 1963) and Il frigorifero/ The refrigerator (Mario Monicelli, ep. from Le coppie/ The couples, 1970). The screenings will be introduced by Daniela Adorni, Giulia Carluccio and Gabriele Rigola (Turin University). Admission 6.00/4.00/3.00 euro.
