The “Mario Gromo” Library/Mediatheque is presenting the film screening of On the waterfront by Elia Kazan, on Monday 23 November at 3.30 p.m., ending the BRANDO, THE MAN showcase.
The “Brando, The Man” retrospective intends - through certain emblematic roles performed by the actor in the first stage of his career in film – to show the process which led to the creation of the Brando icon, characterised by a stardom burdened by the aching humanity of a man against his time, who is paradoxically capable of transforming himself into a testimonial of it.
