The restoration of Carlo Lizzani’s film “La vita agra” during the IL CINEMA DEGLI ALTRI festival

The National Museum of Cinema dedicates its usual monthly edition of IL CINEMA DEGLI ALTRI to the exhibition Memoria contesa - memoria condivisa (A disputed memory - a shared memory): work as portrayed in documentaries on industry and the worker's movement, promoted by the National Archive of Industrial Cinema and the Democratic Worker's Movement Audio-visual Archive Foundation. On Monday 30 November 2009, in Cinema Massimo's Screen 1, at 8.30pm, a copy of the restored film La vita agra will be shown, with its director, Carlo Lizzani, and the actress and star of the film, Giovanna Ralli, present. The meeting will be chaired by Sergio Toffetti.
