Peau contre peau (Skin against skin). François Ozon Retrospective

The National Cinema Museum renders tribute to François Ozon – the extraordinarily versatile young French auteur - with an extensive retrospective titled Skin against skin. François Ozon Retrospective, from Saturday 22 to Sunday 30 September 2012. The retrospective is a National Cinema Museum project rolled out for the occasion of the release of Dans la maison, Ozon’s new film, which will hit French cinemas from 10 October 2012.

For MAGNIFICENT VISIONS: The Permanent Festival of Restored Film, the National Cinema Museum presents the film Le silence de la mer by Jean-Pierre Melville, in the digital restoration carried out by Gaumont and distributed in Italy by Movies Inspire, on Tuesday 25 September 2012 at 8.30 and 10.30 p.m., on Screen Three at the Cinema Massimo. Repeat screening on Wednesday 26 September, at 4 p.m. Admission: 6.00/4.00/3.00 euro.

THE CINEMA OF OTHERS: Der Dibuk by Michal Waszynski, introduced by Sarah Kaminski and Silvia Parlagreco

The National Cinema Museum is hosting the film screening of Der Dibuk by Michal Waszynski within the initiatives linked to Torino Spiritualità, Wednesday 26 September 2012 at 6 p.m., on Screen Three at the Cinema Massimo. The screening is part of Le strade del Dybbuk(The Dybbuk’s trail) project, conceived by curators Sarah Kaminski and Silvia Parlagreco, attending the event. Admission: 3 euro
