As part of the festival entitled FARE GLI ITALIANI (MAKING ITALIANS): The history of Italy in film, the National Cinema Museum presents Mario Monicelli’s film La grande guerra (The Great War) on Sunday, 29 May 2011, in Cinema Massimo’s Screen Three at 4 p.m., followed by Francesco Rosi’s film Uomini contro (Many Wars Ago), at 6.30 p.m. Admission: €5.50/4.00/3.00.

The FARE GLI ITALIANI (MAKING ITALIANS): The history of Italy in film festival, organised to mark the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy, is a National Cinema Museum project, organised in partnership with the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (Experimental Cinematography Centre) – National Film Archive and is affiliated to the great Fare gli italiani (Making Italians) exhibition located in the OGR exhibition hall.
