A MUSIC LIFE showcase of documentaries on jazz, for the occasion of the TORINO JAZZ FESTIVAL.

Cinema Massimo – from 25 to 29 April 2014 – Screen Three

For the occasion of the third edition of the Torino Jazz Festival – from 25 April to 1st May – the National Cinema Museum presents A music life showcase, a journey and a meeting between film and jazz music, from Friday 25 to Tuesday 29 April 2014 at the Cinema Massimo. Dedicated to documentaries this year, this showcase is a National Cinema Museum production within the Torino Jazz Festival.

 

Two special events are billed: two films by Gianni Amico presented to the public by his son Olmo will be screened on Saturday 26 April 2014 at 6.30 p.m., Appunti per un film sul jazz (Notes for a film on jazz) and Noi insistiamo. Suite per la libertà subito (We insist. Suite for freedom at once), and the film Enzo Avitabile Music Life by Jonathan Demme, at the end of which Enzo Avitabile will be in conversation with the audience at the cinema, on Tuesday 29 April 2014 at 5.30 p.m. Admission 6.00/4.00/3.00 euro.
