The restored David Copperfield by Theodore Marston, with live soundtrack by M° Stefano Maccagno, at the 8th edition of the Perinaldo Festival.

The National Cinema Museum is present at the 8th Edition of the Perinaldo Festival - Terre di confine, ai confini della Terra: Musiche d’Orlamonde – from 19 to 27 July 2014 – with the restored David Copperfield – Little Em'ly and David Copperfield, The Early Life of David Copperfield, The loves of David Copperfield by Theodore Marston (1911, USA) – in 35 mm format, with a live soundtrack played by M° Stefano Maccagno and the musicians attending his masterclass. Furthermore, Claudia Gianetto, head of the National Cinema Museum film archive, will hold a lecture during M° Maccagno’s masterclass.

 

The final show, titled Images pour orchestre, music in pictures, will take place on Saturday 26 July 2014 at 10.00 p.m., in piazza San Nicolò of Perinaldo (Imperia), and will feature the performance of music scores written by participants during their masterclass, and conducted by M° Maccagno, during the screening of the film restored by the National Cinema Museum.
