The National Cinema Museum is the partner of “The Great War on big screen” exhibition, which will be held at the Piedicastello Galleries (Trento) from 28 July 2014 to 14 June 2015. The exhibition – by curators Luca Giuliani, Patrizia Marchesoni, Luca Caracristi and Roberta Trait – includes archive material illustrating the first world conflict in film, which in its turn, was venturing its first steps from a technical point of view at that time.

More than 60 films will be screened in this 300 metre long dark tunnel, on 46 big screens, for a total of 450 square metres of screenings over 600 viewing minutes. It will all create a timeline circuit ranging from 1914 to 2014. The National Cinema Museum has provided some material, historic items contributing to the script of this century-long tale.
