The 35mm cycle is continuing, with Life and nothing more by Kiarostami, an extraordinary sequel to Where is the friend’s home?

Cinema Massimo – From 1 to 26 April 2015 – Screen Three

After screening Where is the friend’s home? by Kiarostami in February, the April date for 35mm – the cycle conceived for highlighting the National Cinema Museum heritage on film – is continuing with the screening of Zendegi va digar hich (Life and nothing more) by Abbas Kiarostami. Admission 6.00/4.00/3.00 euro.

Three years after Where is the friend’s home? Abbas Kiarostami returns in the Gilan region, in the north of Iran, to retrieve the places and faces of that story, only to find them completely wrecked by the earthquake that struck the area. An anomalous and extraordinary sequel, therefore, with its digressing tales, like the pathways that climb up amongst ruins and unveil reality.

Screenings on Wednesday 1 April at 6.15 p.m., Saturday 11 April at 8.30 p.m., Friday 17 April at 6.15 p.m., Monday 20 April at 4.30 p.m. and Sunday 26 April at 8.30 p.m.
