Exactly two months after the demise of great master Manoel de Oliveira, we are recalling his great opus – which has ranged throughout eighty years of film history – with one of his most recent films, offered in the traditional 35mm print format, in its original French version with subtitles. It is a moving tribute to a filmmaker who was celebrated by the Turin Film Festival in the year 2000, with a memorable retrospective by curators Roberto Turigliatto and Simona Fina.
The film will be screened on Wednesday 3 at 6.30 p.m., Sunday 14 at 8.30 p.m., Monday 15 at 6.30 p.m., Wednesday 24 at 6.00 p.m. and on Saturday 27 at 9.00 p.m. Admission 6.00/4.00/3.00 euro.
