Hereafter by Clint Eastwood will open the new cycle of CINEMA and PSYCHOANALYSIS, dedicated to the unexpected.

Cinema Massimo – 20 January 2016, 9.00 p.m. – Screen Three

First rendez-vous this year for the  second cycle of screenings organised by the National Cinema Museum and the Turin Psychoanalysis Centre, titled Cinema and psychoanalysis.

The unexpected” showcase demonstrates how cinema is able to convey the psyche’s reaction to the immediate and unconscious impact of apparently casual, and anyhow unexpected events and meetings, with compelling intensity. Psychoanalysis dedicates particular attention to such experiences, considering them valuable moments, in view of possible new morphing experiences. It opens with maybe the most ”spiritual” film by Clint Eastwood, Hereafter, which questions life and fate, taking its cue from three characters and their intense inner feelings. To follow, meeting with Maria Annalisa Balbo. Admission 6.00/4.00/3.00 euro.
