Cinema Massimo  - 24 February, Screen Three, 8.30 p.m.


The National Cinema Museum presents an exclusive event for Turin: Tormenti - Film disegnato by Filiberto Scarpelli, who will be present alongside the producer Silvia D’Amico and the actor Omero Antonutti.

 

The National Cinema Museum, in partnership with Lucky Red and Bendico Srl, is proud to present an exclusive event for Turin, a must. On Friday, 24 February at 8.30 p.m. in Cinema Massimo’s Screen Three there will be a screening of Filiberto Scarpelli’s Tormenti – Film disegnato. The screening will be introduced by the film’s director, Filiberto Scarpelli, the producer Silvia D’Amico and the actor Omero Antonutti.

The film will also be shown in Screen Three from Saturday 25 to Wednesday 29 February 2012 at 6.30 p.m. Admission: 7.00/5.00/4.00 euros.

To mark the film’s release, an exhibition of Furio Scarpelli’s preparatory drawings for the film will be set up in Cinema Massimo. The eight panels of the exhibition will be put on display in the first floor foyer where people entering Screens Two and Three can see them.

For CINEMA DEGLI ALTRI (THE CINEMA OF OTHERS), the National Cinema Museum and the Associazione Chicca Richelmy present the short films that won the last four editions of Spazio Torino - Premio Chicca Richelmy at the Torino Film Festival. Afterwards there will be a talk by the award-winning directors.

 

Four years after the death of Chicca Richelmy, the National Cinema Museum and the Associazione Chicca Richelmy present, on Monday, 27 February at 8.30 p.m. in Cinema Massimo’s Screen Two, a screening of the short films that won the last four editions of the competition named after her and awarded in the Spazio Torino section of the Torino Film Festival. The award-winning directors will be in attendance to discuss the films with the general public of Turin. Entrance to the screening and the talk by the young film directors is free. Participants are free to make a donation towards the 2012 edition of the Chicca Richelmy prize at the TFF.

The National Cinema Museum presents Jean-Pierre Melville’s Le Samourai (The Godson) for MAGNIFICHE VISIONI (MAGNIFICENT VISIONS): The Permanent Festival of Restored Film.

 

The National Cinema Museum presents Jean-Pierre Melville’s film Le Samourai (The Godson) on Tuesday, 28 February 2012 at 8.45 p.m. in Cinema Massimo’s Screen Three, screening a restored HD digital copy produced by Pathé. There will be a repeat screening on Wednesday, 29 February 2012 at 4 p.m. Admission: 6.00/4.00/3.00 euros.
