A screening of Gianfranco Firriolo’s film La faccia della terra (The Face of the Earth), introduced by the film director himself, will close the Rockumentary series, part of the MyGeneration festival.

The National Cinema Museum and Nichelino’s city council present Gianfranco Firriolo’s documentary La faccia della terra, introduced to the audience by the film director himself, on Wednesday the 27th of October 2010 at 9.15 p.m., and so concluding the Rockumentary festival.

The film consists of an intimate and poetic exploration of the soul of the musician Vinicio Capossela based on the travelogue of his physical and spiritual voyage to the United States and the Po valley, which gave rise to his album Da solo. Before Firriolo’s presentation, at 8.30 p.m., the film director Paolo Campana, with Alberto Campo, will introduce his “work in progress”, Vinylmania, showing a few scenes.
