New rendez-vous for TALKS IN PROGRESS with the presentation of the book Vedo... l'ammazzo and torno (I’ll see… kill him and come back) by Marco Giusti, Isbn Edizioni, Milan 2013, on Monday 2 December at 8.30 p.m. in the Events Room at the Library/Mediatheque.

The book, which includes an introduction by Carlo Freccero and a cameo by Checco Zalone, proposes an open-hearted analysis of Italian cinema, of its contradictions, of its (few) virtues and of its (many) flaws. The author will be in conversation with Riccardo Fassone (Turin University) and Paolo Manera (Film Commission Torino Piemonte). Meeting moderated by Marco Grifo (National Cinema Museum). To follow, film screening of I soliti idioti by Enrico Lando, (Italy 2011, 87’, col.), cast: F. Biggio, F. Mandelli, G. Tognazzi.
