Cinema Massimo – 21 January 2015, 8.45 p.m. - Screen Three

For AUTEUR SHORTS in January, a date by the National Short Film Centre – in collaboration with the Bologna Film Archive - will offer the portraits of five giants in Italian and international cinema. The programme features four short documentaries made by Maurizio Ponzi between 1966 and 1967: Il cinema di Pasolini (Pasolini’s cinema), Verso Rossellini (Towards Rossellini), Verso Visconti (Towards Visconti) and Fellini in città (Fellini in town). The programme will be rounded off by a more recent film: Schegge di utopia – Alberto Grifi (Shards of utopia – Alberto Grifi) by Paolo Brunatto, about the greatest of Italian experimental authors. The evening will be introduced to the public by Maurizio Ponzi, Alberto Barbera and Jacopo Chessa. Admission 3.00 euro.
