The IF WE MAY, WE’LL TALK OF… PIETRANGELI, SCOLA (AND THE OTHERS) retrospective has been envisaged – a few months after Ettore Scola’s demise – as a transversal tribute for the author of some of the most important films in our cinematography. We said transversally, because we wished to propose a selection of titles that would show Scola’s work as screenwriter: a long, fruitful and important skill which not only led him to sign the scripts for his own films, but also allowed him to mould predominant characters within the commedia all'italiana, through his scripts for other filmmakers.
This week, screening of Adua e le compagne (Adua and her friends) by Antonio Pietrangeli.
