“CONNECTIONS. The eighth art” WORLD PREMIERE at the National Cinema Museum
Mole Antonelliana, Temple Hall - 14 April 2018, 9.00 p.m.
The National Cinema Museum will be the stage for the world premiere of a format inaugurating a novel use of its museum spaces: the grand show that will be presented as a WORLD PREMIERE on 14 APRIL has been modelled for and around the National Cinema Museum and the Mole Antonelliana.
“CONNECTIONS” is an innovative production in the performing arts field, inaugurating a novel manner of interaction between artistic and acrobatic performances and great museums. It is the hub in which cinema, fashion, design, the performing arts and museum spaces meet, talk, and contaminate each other. Creating a new expressive form: the eighth art.
The eighth art is organised by Les Farfadais, one of the most important nouveau cirque companies worldwide, a master in hybridizing creative languages and expressive modes.
This project, conceived by LUCAS, with Pietro Lesca’s artistic direction, and supervision by Roberto Beccaria, is supported by the Compagnia di San Paolo within the ambit of “ORA_Contemporary Languages, innovative productions”. Connections is supported by the Compagnia di San Paolo and is organised in partnership with the National Cinema Museum in Turin, with a contribution from the City of Turin.
