BEYOND THE WORLD - Kore-eda Hirokazu Retrospective, the National Cinema Museum renders tribute to the Jury Prize winner at the last Cannes Film Festival.
The National Cinema Museum renders tribute to the Jury Prize winner at the last Cannes Film Festival, Japanese director and screenwriter Kore-eda Hirokazu, from Wednesday 13 to Wednesday 20 November 2013, with a showcase titled Beyond the World - Kore-eda Hirokazu Retrospective.
The Retrospective is a National Cinema Museum project organised in collaboration with the Japan Foundation in Madrid and BIM Distribuzione.
Director Kore-eda Hirokazu, introduced by Dario Tomasi, will meet the public at the cinema on the evening of Monday 18 November 2013, at 8.30 p.m., at Screen Three at the Cinema Massimo, following the screening of his film Nobody Knows. On this occasion Claudia Bertolé’s book Splendidi riflessi di ciò che ci manca. Il cinema di Kore-eda Hirokazu (Splendid reflections of what we lack. Kore-eda Hirokazu’s cinema) (Il Foglio Letterario ed.) will be presented for the first time.
The film awarded with the Jury Prize winner at the latest Cannes Film Festival, Like father, like son will be presented to the public on Wednesday 20 November 2013 at 8.45 p.m., always on Screen Three at the Cinema Massimo, after which Kore-eda Hirokazu and Dario Tomasi will meet the public.
