The Torino Jazz Festival and the Cinema Museum are presenting DRUM CRAZY – JAZZ, CINEMA AND DRUMS. Special guest Antonio Sánchez will play live for the Oscar winning film Birdman
The National Cinema Museum and the Torino Jazz Festival are organising a retrospective titled DRUM CRAZY. Jazz, cinema and drums, with seven films, from 23 to 30 April 2016 at the Cinema Massimo.
A drum-kit, the focus of the whole showcase, will introduce an exceptional concert by Antonio Sánchez, the author of the music in the Oscar winning film Birdman, who will perform the drum-kit parts live during the screening on Saturday 30 April at 6.00 p.m., in a European premiere. This event is an exclusive occasion, courtesy of the Torino Jazz Festival. With thanks to RAI - Centre for Technological Research and Innovation.
