A new event in the MAGNIFICHE VISIONI (MAGNIFICENT VISIONS: Permanent Festival of Restored Film) features Bob Rafelson’s film Five Easy Pieces, with a screening of Sony Pictures’s dig

Cinema Massimo – 2 November 2010, at 8.45 p.m.

The National Cinema Museum presents Bob Rafelson’s film Five Easy Pieces on Tuesday the 2nd of November 2010 at 8.45 p.m. and Wednesday the 3rd of November 2010 at 4.30 p.m. in Cinema Massimo’s Screen 3, with a screening of Sony Pictures’s digitally restored copy.

In Five Easy Pieces, Bob Rafelson caustically portrays a disillusioned and cynical America of the post-1968 years, using the tale of a wounded hero, exiled by his own unease from the rules of a society founded on great illusions, who has lost his connection with the social reality that he belongs to.

The film is the fifth event in the second season of MAGNIFICHE VISIONI (MAGNIFICENT VISIONS: Permanent Festival of Restored Film). Admission 5.50/4.00/3.00 euros.
