Cinema Massimo – 12 November 2010, at 8.30 p.m.

The National Cinema Museum presents the festival entitled L’IMMAGINE ALLO SPECCHIO (THE IMAGE IN THE MIRROR): doubles and symmetry in film at Cinema Massimo, organised to coincide with the large-scale exhibition EXHIBITION, EXHIBITION directed by Adam Carr, which will run at Rivoli Castle until the 9th of January 2011. This retrospective, which will be held at Cinema Massimo from the 12th to the 16th of November  2010, examines the exhibition's theme – which specifically ponders the dynamics of  doubles in the world of contemporary art – tackling motifs such as doubles and symmetry as seen in those films that have each, in their own way, presented the theme of the double in its widest sense. The festival will open on the 12th of November 2010, at 8.30 p.m. at Cinema Massimo. Massimo Melotti will introduce a screening of David Lynch's film Mulholland Drive. Admission: €5.50/4.00/3.00.
