RAI Cinema is presenting the premiere of Pif’s film In guerra per amore at the Cinema Massimo. The director will meet the audience at the cinema. Admission free.

The National Cinema Museum is pleased to host the filmmaker and actor Pierfrancesco Diliberto, who goes by the stage name of Pif, presenting the premiere of his film In guerra per amore, his second feature film as a director, which he also stars in, to the Turin public at the Cinema Massimo.

 

The film presentation, courtesy of RAI Cinema, will take place on Monday 17 October at 8.30 p.m., at Screen One in the Cinema Massimo. The filmmaker will meet the audience at the end of the screening. Admission free until full capacity is reached. Free tickets distribution at the box-office starting from 7.00 p.m.

New York 1943. While the world is fully in the second World War, Arturo is experiencing his rocky love story with Flora. They both love each other, but she is the affianced bride of an important mob boss’s son. In order to be wed, our protagonist must obtain the assent of his beloved’s father, who lives in a small Sicilian village. Young and with his pockets to let, Arturo has an only way for reaching the island: enrolling in the American army preparing its landing in Sicily. The event which will change the history of Sicily, Italy and the Mafia forever.
