Bibliomediateca – from 24 february to 1 march 2012

As part of UN MUSEO PER L’AFRICA (A MUSEUM FOR AFRICA), the film director Elisa Mereghetti will present some of her documentaries. Afterwards there will be a presentation of the Belles toujour project and promotional videos for the international campaign for the awarding of Nobel peace prizes to African women

 

As part of the UN MUSEO PER L’AFRICA (A MUSEUM FOR AFRICA) series of events, meetings and screenings on the African continent, the film director Elisa Mereghetti will guide us on a fascinating journey to meet the women of Senegal on Friday, 24 February 2012 at 8.30 p.m. in the Bibliomediateca’s meeting room. The evening will open with a presentation of her documentaries Per non restare a braccia conserte and Ritratto di Altinè nella stagione secca and continues with a screening of Belles toujour, an extract of the documentary currently being produced: African Photo – Mama Casset, photographer in Dakar. The evening will conclude with a screening of the promotional videos produced for the Noppaw – Nobel Peace Prize for African Woman campaign. Introduced by Sonia Del Secco.

The last event in the series entitled ROMANZI POPOLARI (POPULAR FICTION): A tribute to Mario Monicelli features a screening of the film Romanzo Popolare (Come Home and Meet My Wife). Introduced by Nicolò Vigna.

As part of the NUOVI ORIZZONTI DELLA TEORIA E DELLA STORIOGRAFIA (NEW HORIZONS IN THEORY AND HISTORIOGRAPHY): series of talks on film and media, a presentation of the book Indagine su un cittadino al di sopra di ogni sospetto (Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion) by Claudio Bisoni.

 

The National Cinema Museum presents a new event in the NUOVI ORIZZONTI DELLA TEORIA E DELLA STORIOGRAFIA (NEW HORIZONS IN THEORY AND HISTORIOGRAPHY): series of talks on film and media with a presentation of the book Indagine su un cittadino al di sopra di ogni sospetto (Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion) by Claudio Bisoni (Lindau, 2011) in the Bibliomediateca, on Wednesday, 29 February 2012 at 3 p.m. The author will be joined by Carla Ceresa (from the National Cinema Museum’s historical archive), Franco Prono (from the University of Turin) and Gabriele Rigola (from the University of Turin).
