New rendez-vous for Psy-che Cinema!, organised by the Temenos Jungian Cultural Centre, with the screening of "Giulietta degli spiriti" by Federico Fellini.

New rendez-vous in February with Psy-che Cinema!, the initiative organised by the Temenos Jungian Cultural Centre, in collaboration with the National Cinema Museum, offering a journey through three cinema masterpieces for those who desire an introspective and psychological approach. Following the first date in January with A clockwork orange by Stanley Kubrick, Giulietta degli spiriti by Federico Fellini will be screened in February.

In this film Fellini is proposing a delicate and visionary reflection on the Female and on its relationship with the Male: the meeting at the cineforum will focus on the relationship between these two great ambits within the psyche, the Female and the Male, through an introduction to the Jungian theme of Soul and Animus. The conversation, accompanied by viewing significant passages in the film, will be led by Andrea Graglia, a Jungian psychologist in Turin, and it will involve the public as well as the guests: Ferruccio Vigna, a Jungian psychoanalist in Turin, and Stefano Boni.

Admission to the screening is priced at 6.00/4.00 euro, while participation at the meeting is free.

Giulietta degli spiriti (Juliet of the spirits)

Giulietta, a rich middle-class lady educated according to the rules of a most rigid catholicism, falls into a deep crisis when she discovers her husband’s betrayal. She seeks comfort in interrogating spirits and even consulting an Indian seer. Susy, an uninhibited neighbour, tries to help her let go, by introducing her into in a world of vice, but Giulietta keeps her distance from it.
