The National Cinema Museum Association is presenting the Turin premiere of "Oro bianco" by Damiano Monaco.

Cinema Massimo – 19 February 2018, 8.45 p.m. – Screen Three

For the occasion of the tenth anniversary of H12 FILM, the National Cinema Museum Association is organising the Turin premiere of Damiano Monaco’s documentary Oro bianco. The film speaks about the story of the Royal Porcelain Manufactures at Vinovo, which was active at the Della Rovere Castle from 1776 to 1825. A period which saw Vinovo become one of the most important experimenting centres in Europe in this pioneering adventure. The documentary studies the figure of Vittorio Amedeo Gioanetti, the brilliant doctor and chemist who was able to take porcelain production to such excellence that it became an item appreciated in the most important museums and auction houses worldwide. The film was made in collaboration with Coup d'ideè with a contribution by the Municipality of Vinovo and was supported by the Piemonte Doc Film Fund; Oro bianco will be distributed by Coccinelle Film.

Admission 4.00 euro.
