The National Cinema Museum pays tribute to the films of Jean-Luc Godard

Cinema Massimo – 10 February 2010, at 8.30 p.m

The National Cinema Museum pays tribute to the film director Jean-Luc Godard on his 80th birthday with a comprehensive retrospective exhibition at Cinema Massimo which will feature monthly events from February to June and which will screen all the director’s films in chronological order. The first part of the festival – which will open on Wednesday 10 February 2010 at 8.30 p.m. in Cinema Massimo’s Screen 3 with a screening of the director’s debut film A bout de souffle (Breathless) – will present the work of Godard from 1954 to 1965, together with a wide selection of films that Godard, as film critic of the Cahiers du Cinéma, loved and reviewed.
