The National Cinema Museum presents Vite da bohème: an Aki Kaurismäki retrospective at Cinema Massimo.

Cinema Massimo - from 10 to 21 February 2012, Screen Three

The National Cinema Museum pays tribute to the Finnish film director Aki Kaurismaki – socially conscious, ironic, surreal and experimentative – with a retrospective entitled Vite da bohème: an Aki Kaurismaki retrospective.

The retrospective is a National Cinema Museum project organised in partnership with the Finnish Film Foundation (Suomen Elokuvasäätiö).

The festival will open on Friday, 10 February 2012 at 4.30 p.m. in Cinema Massimo’s Screen Three, with a screening of Crime and Punishment, a modern adaptation – which however respects the spirit of the original - of Dostoevsky’s novel. Admission: 6.00/4.00/3.00 euros.
