As part of VIEWFest, the National Cinema Museum presents the Italian premiere of Enrico Casarosa’s La Luna at Cinema Massimo, a tribute to Jean-Luc Godard and a talk by Erminio Pinque, the artistic director of Big Nazo Labs.
The VIEWFest Digital Movie Festival is back at Cinema Massimo, from 21 to 23 October, organised by the VIEW Conference, presenting films chosen from the best festivals around the world, making it the Italian “hub” of the international network of digital film festivals.

A screening of Michele Fasano’s film In me non c’è che futuro (There is Only Future in Me) for IL CINEMA DEGLI ALTRI (OTHER PEOPLE’S CINEMA) introduced by the director and Laura Olivetti, President of the Fondazione Adriano Olivetti.
The National Cinema Museum presents, on Monday, 24 October 2011 at 8.30 p.m. in Screen Three, Michele Fasano’s film In me non c’è che futuro (There is Only Future in Me) as part of its IL CINEMA DEGLI ALTRI (OTHER PEOPLE’S CINEMA) series. The screening will be introduced by Umberto Mosca, the artistic director of MyGeneration. Admission: €3. There will be a repeat screening at 10.30 p.m. Admission: €4.

Thierry Fremaux presents Richard Fleischer’s Soylent Green for the MAGNIFICHE VISIONI (MAGNIFICENT VISIONS): Permanent Festival of Restored Film.
The National Cinema Museum presents Richard Fleischer’s film Soylent Green on Tuesday, 25 October 2011 at 8.45 p.m. in Cinema Massimo’s Screen Three, screening a copy restored by the Institut Lumière with funding from BNP Paribas and in partnership with Warner Bros. The screening will be introduced by Thierry Fremaux, the director of the Institut Lumière. The screening will be repeated on 26 October at 4 p.m. Admission: 5.50/4.00/3.00 euros.
- WEDNESAY 26 OCTOBER, at 6 p.m. – SCREEN THREE
The National Cinema Museum and the DAMS college for the performing arts present Vittorio De Sica’s film Ladri di biciclette (Bicycle Thieves) for the HISTOIRE(S) DU CINÉMA festival, presented by Giaime Alonge.
The HISTOIRE(S) DU CINÉMA: Classics from film history series of classics continues, organised by the National Cinema Museum and the University of Turin’s DAMS college for the performing arts at Cinema Massimo. The next event will be held on Wednesday, 26 October at 6 p.m. in Cinema Massimo’s Screen Three and will feature a screening of Vittorio De Sica’s film Ladri di biciclette (Bicycle Thieves), which will be introduced by Giaime Alonge. Admission: 4 euros (3 euros for university students and the over 60s).

The MONDI LONTANI, MONDI VICINI (NEAR WORLDS, FAR WORLDS) series returns to Cinema Massimo, now in its 19th edition.
The series will start on Thursday, 27 October at 8 p.m. in Cinema Massimo’s Screen One with a special screening of the film Into Paradiso with the film’s director, Paola Randi, in attendance.
