As part of MAGNIFICHE VISIONI (MAGNIFICENT VISIONS): The Permanent Festival of Restored Film, the National Cinema Museum presents Jean Epstein’s film Coeur fidèle (Faithful Heart).

 

The National Cinema Museum presents Jean Epstein’s film Coeur fidèle (Faithful Heart) on Tuesday, 15 November 2011 at 8.45 p.m. in Cinema Massimo’s Screen Three, restored by The Masters of Cinema, London. There will be a repeat screening on Wednesday, 16 November at 4 p.m. Admission: 5.50/4.00/3.00 euros.

The film is one of the many events scheduled in the new and exciting season of MAGNIFICHE VISIONI (MAGNIFICENT VISIONS): The Permanent Festival of Restored Film.

 

 

- WEDNESDAY 16 NOVEMBER, at 6.00 p.m. – SCREEN THREE

The National Cinema Museum, in partnership with the DAMS college for the performing arts, presents Jean Luc Godard’s film Le Mepris (Contempt), for the HISTOIRE(S) DU CINÉMA series, introduced by Silvio Alovisio.

 

The HISTOIRE(S) DU CINÉMA: classics from film history series continues. The next event will be held on Wednesday, 16 November 2011 at 6 p.m. in Cinema Massimo’s Screen Three, and will feature a screening of Jean Luc Godard’s film Le Mepris (Contempt), introduced by Silvio Alovisio. Admission: €4 (€3 for university students and the over 60s).

 

 

- WEDNESDAY 16 NOVEMBER, at 8.30 – SCREEN THREE

The National Cinema Museum presents “Four masterpieces from afar” for CORTI D’AUTORE (SHORT ART FILMS). Afterwards there will be a screening of Benoit Felici’s film Unfinished Italy for W L’ITALIA (LONG LIVE ITALY).

 

The National Cinema Museum presents four masterpieces of world cinema for CORTI D’AUTORE (SHORT ART FILMS), on Wednesday, 16 November 2011 at Cinema Massimo: Bahman Ghobadi’s Life in Fog, Abbas Kiarostami’s Hamsarayan (The Chorus), Kazimierz Karbasz’s Muzykancy (The Musicians) and Krzysztof Kieslowski’s Railway Station. Afterwards there will a screening of Benoit Felici’s film Unfinished Italy for W l’Italia! (Long Live Italy). Admission: 3 euros.
