Screening of Matthew Akers’ documentary Marina Abramovic – The Artist is Present for CULT!’s monthly rendez-vous.

 

The National Cinema Museum presents a screening of Marina Abramovic – The Artist is Present by Matthew Akers, a documentary on the preparation of the great retrospective that the New York Museum of Modern Art dedicated to the Serbian performer in 2010, for its March CULT! rendez-vous on Friday 23 March 2012 at 8.30 and 10.30 p.m., on Screen Three at the Cinema Massimo. There will be a repeat screening on Saturday 24 March at 4.30 p.m. Admission: 6.00/4.00/3.00 euro.

The National Cinema Museum presents Golden Collection part III and Golden Collection part IV at the Cinema Massimo for the occasion of the Bugs, Daffy, Sylvester & Co. The cartoons of Warner Bros. exhibition.

 

The National Cinema Museum presents Golden Collection part III and Golden Collection part IV, a selection of the most hilarious Looney Tunes adventures, for its new week-end rendez-vous with the Warner world cartoons characters. Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 March at 3 p.m., on Screen Three at the Cinema Massimo. Admission: 3 euro. Free for under 14s.

New date at the Cinema Massimo for UN MUSEO PER L’AFRICA (A MUSEUM FOR AFRICA) featuring a film screening of Death for Sale by Faouzi Bensaïdi, who will be attending to introduce his film together with Giuseppe Gariazzo.

 

Moroccan filmmaker Faouzi Bensaïdi will introduce his latest film Death for Sale to the public, together with film critic and African cinema specialist Giuseppe Gariazzo, on Sunday 25 March 2012 at 8.30 p.m., at Screen Three in the Cinema Massimo, for UN MUSEO PER L’AFRICA (A MUSEUM FOR AFRICA) – a cycle of events, meetings and screenings dedicated to the African continent - in collaboration with the Festival del Cinema Africano, d’Asia e America Latina (Milan, from 19 to 25 March).

The National Cinema Museum presents John Ford’s film The Searchers, digitally restored by Hollywood Classics, on Tuesday 27 March 2012, at 8.45 p.m., on Screen Three at the Cinema Massimo. There will be a repeat screening on Wednesday 28 March 2012 at 4 p.m. Admission: 6.00/4.00/3.00 euro.
