Piemonte Movie gLocal Film Festival special events at the Cinema Massimo: opening evening dedicated to Alberto Signetto and an evening with Davide Ferrario and the Marlene Kuntz.
The 14th edition of Piemonte Movie gLocal Film Festival, the traditional rendez-vous with regional cinema, is back from 10 to 14 March, in Turin and in other cities in Piedmont.
The Museum will host some of the most significant events of this showcase at the Massimo, starting from the opening evening on Tuesday 10, with the screening at 8.30 p.m. of Marilena Moretti’s documentary Walking with Red Rhino, dedicated to the late Alberto Signetto, who passed away just over one year ago (Admission 4€).
Tribute to Davide Ferrario, the producer of Miss Moretti’s film, on Wednesday 11 at 8.30 p.m., with the screenings of Sul 45° parallelo (On the 45th parallel) (1997, 50’) and Tutta colpa di Giuda (It's all Judas' fault) (2009, 102’) and on Saturday 14 from 4.30 p.m., with the screenings of Tutti giù per terra (We all fall down) (1996, 91’) and La strada di Levi (Primo Levi’s journey) (2006, 92’). The programme for the evening of Wednesday 11 will be introduced by Davide Ferrario and the Marlene Kuntz band. Admission 6.00/4.00/3.00 euro.
