BEHIND THE MASK. Paolo Sorrentino’s cinema showcase.
The National Cinema Museum is organising an integral retrospective – from 18 to 27 May 2015 at the Cinema Massimo – dedicated to filmmaker Paolo Sorrentino. The imminent theatrical release of his new film La giovinezza (Youth), will offer an opportunity for reviewing and rewatching his feature films, which have literally overwhelmed Italian cinema and brought it once more into the international limelight. Actor Toni Servillo is an almost constant presence in Sorrentino’s films.
The BEHIND THE MASK. Paolo Sorrentino’s cinema showcase will be inaugurated on Monday 18 May at 6.15 p.m., with the screening of L'uomo in più (One man up), the director’s first feature film.
