The CHORDS & DISCORDS – A story of everyday bickering film cycle showcase, the result of the Communicating cinema. A project and implementation of a film showcase laboratory, held in March and April at the “Mario Gromo” Library/Mediatheque, is continuing with the screening of The Big Kahuna by John Swanbeck. The target of this project – organised in collaboration with Turin University – was to offer a group of selected students the basic skills needed for conceiving and creating a film showcase, aimed at the public of a specialised cultural centre working on the territory. The film offering will range from American comedy to Japanese cinema, its fil rouge being the theme of friendship – variously expressed – in all the films in its programme.
