An all-female double [IMPORT] rendez-vous in June, with the screening of Still the Water by Kawase Naomi and Night Moves by Kelly Reichardt.
The interesting monthly [Import] rendez-vous is continuing at the Cinema Massimo, with the aim of bringing the very latest films which received great accolades at international festivals, but did not find any distribution in Italy, to the cinema. An all-female double rendez-vous in June, with Futatsume no mado (Still the Water), the intense coming-of-age novel staged by Japanese female director Kawase Naomi, one of the protagonists of contemporary oriental cinema, and Night Moves, staged by Kelly Reichardt, an exceptionally talented indie filmmaker, which recounts a radical choice on the part of three American environment activists.
The first film will be screened on Wednesday 3 at 9.00 p.m., Saturday 6 at 6.45 p.m., Sunday 7 at 8.30 p.m., Friday 19 at 3.00 p.m., Monday 29 at 3.45 p.m. and finally on Tuesday 30 at 9.00 p.m.
The screenings of Kelly Reichardt’s film will alternate with the others, on Wednesday 10 at 4.00 p.m., Saturday 13 at 4.15 p.m., Monday 15 at 4.00 p.m., Sunday 21 at 8.45 p.m., Friday 26 at 4.00 p.m. and on Sunday 28 at 8.30 p.m.
