MUSEUM AND TERRITORY presents the film screening of the restored La moglie di Claudio, with a live soundtrack.

Library/Mediatheque – 30 October 2015, 8.00 p.m. – Events Room

For the occasion of the World Day for Audiovisual Heritage (27 October) the “Mario Gromo” Library/Mediatheque is presenting a project, in collaboration with the Comala Cultural Association and Circoscrizione 3 – City of Turin, with a live soundtrack for a film restored by the National Cinema Museum and held at the Museum Film Archive.

It is featuring the film print of La moglie di Claudio (The wife of Claudius), directed in 1918 by Gero Zambuto and starring Pina Menichelli, selected for this occasion amongst the numerous restorations carried out by the Museum over the past years. The screening is accompanied by an international group of young musicians from Germany, Italy, Israel, Portugal and Serbia, coordinated by musician Edoardo Pascale.

This young musicians’ band is part of the project Exploring Roots and Ways of Cultural Diversity in Music and Education, financed by the European Commission Erasmus+ programme.

The film is introduced by Claudia Gianetto (Head of the NCM Film Archive).
