A history of documentary film – Between cinema and anthropology in January presents Être et avoir by Nicolas Philibert, La mia classe by Daniele Gaglianone and When we were kings by Leon Gast.

January will see the conclusion of A history of documentary film – Between cinema and anthropology, the showcase organised with the chairs of Visual Anthropology (Department of Cultures, Politics and Society) and Documentary Cinema History (Humanities Department of Turin University) dedicated to great classics in documentary films.

Three screenings are programmed for January: Être et avoir (To be and to have) di Nicolas Philibert on Tuesday 12 alle 6.00 p.m., on Tuesday 19 always at 6.00 p.m. it will be the turn of La mia classe by Daniele Gaglianone while the screening of When we were kings by Leon Gast will take place on Tuesday 26 at 8.30 p.m.

Admission 4 euro (3 euro for university students) for the first two screenings. The screening of When we were kings is also a part of the framework of the Planet Africa project and the ticket cost is 3 euro for everyone.
