The Arcobaleno Aids Onlus Association presents The Normal Heart by Ryan Murphy during an evening for creating awareness about the danger of AIDS.
The Arcobaleno Aids Onlus Association in Turin has reached twenty years of activity and is organising a screening at the Cinema Massimo of an important film full of significance, in order to make its voice heard once again. Indeed, The Normal Heart has a double-fold political and social intent: a reconstruction of one of the darkest pages in recent American history and reopening a debate on the danger of AIDS. Because ever since anti-retroviral drugs were introduced in 1996, the Western world has stopped talking about HIV and AIDS, with the result of a new surge in contagion; not only among male homosexuals (in the USA in particular, belonging to Hispanic and Afro-American minorities), but also within the population in general and with a decided majority of transmission by sexual means. Admission 5 euro. 40% of the box-office will be devolved to the Arcobaleno Aids Onlus Association.
