Nitrate Film Festival – 12 June 2016, 5.00 p.m. - Kosovska 11, Belgrade
The National Cinema Museum will be present at the prestigious Belgrade Nitrate Film Festival 2016, which is deemed one of the first three festivals of its kind worldwide, with the screening of Maciste alpino (The warrior) by Luigi Maggi and Luigi Romano Borgnetto. The film will be screened on Sunday 12 June at 5.00 p.m. (Kosovska 11, Belgrade).
An undisputed masterpiece of Italian silent cinema, the film is shown on a print restored by the Venice Biennale and by the National Cinema Museum together with L’Immagine Ritrovata laboratory (restoration ended in 2014).
