Inquiries, comparisons and analyses, through the eyes, minds and the visions of the most paradigmatic contemporary authors, of daring experimenters with novel filmic languages and narrators of thus-far concealed new forms of humanity. The cycle will be opened by the film screening of I tempi felici verranno presto by Alessandro Comodin. To follow, the director will meet the public at the cinema. Admission 6.00/4.00 euro.

I tempi felici verranno presto (Happy times will come soon)
(Italy/France 2017, 102’, DCP, col.)
Tommaso and Arturo have managed to escape, seeking shelter in a forest. In spite of everything, life is good now. But, watch out, you always die when you least expect it, even though you are young, finally happy and you have never done anything wrong. Many years later, in our days, the forest appears to be infested by famished wolves. Nobody remembers the story of the two youths, but Ariane discovers a strange hole right in that forest. So, is Ariane perhaps the girl which that legend in the valley talks about?
Sindacato Belleville, founded in 2016, is made up of filmmakers, film theoreticians and critics who share visions, premises, intentions and possibilities regarding a new and more sincere way of thinking, writing and implementing cinematographic matters.
