SoundFrames presents the "Club 27. On the Tracks of 7 Stars" crossmedial performance.

Mole Antonelliana – 3 March 2018, 9.00 p.m. – Temple Hall

Club 27 represents a disquieting common aspect for some of the most important contemporary musicians, linked by a premature and in many cases mysterious death, at the age of 27.

This performance illustrates the story of the seven most representative stars in this controversial Club: Robert Johnson, Brian Jones, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain and Amy Winehouse, trying to capture their life at their moment of highest splendour, in order to transform it into an experience capable of touching multiple levels of feeling and perception, with illustrations by Matteo Regattin, narrative videos by Cristina Iurissevich, electronic music by Riccardo Mazza and immersive videos by Laura Pol.

The performance is a part of the On the tracks format, born from the work of these artists, who each singly reinterpret the narration in a personal manner through their individual media, making it flow into a choral work which finds its most authentic expression in "live" execution.

The performance texts are freely drawn from the book by Elisa Giobbi Rock’n’Roll Noir. I misteri, le relazioni e gli amori del Club 27 (Arcana, Lit Edizioni, 2016).

Club 27. On the tracks of 7 stars is a crossmedial performance produced for the 2018 edition of the Seeyousound Festival, created by a group made up by illustrator Matteo Regattin, visual designer Cristina Iurissevich and the sound&visual duo Riccardo Mazza and Laura Pol (Project-TO).

Admission with Cinema Museum ticket.
