HEARING CINEMA – Guided tour in the dark at the SOUNDFRAMES. Cinema and music on show, in collaboration with the Italian Blind and Sight Impaired Union (UICI) and Tactile Vision.
National Cinema Museum – 21 April 2018, 7.30/9.00 p.m. – Mole Antonelliana
For the occasion of the great SoundFrames. Cinema and music on show exhibition – which may be viewed throughout 2018 at the Mole Antonelliana – the public will be able to gain insights into the exhibition theme on Saturday 21 April, at 7.30 and 9.00 p.m., through a one-off and novel experience: the Hearing cinema tour in the dark organised in collaboration with the Italian Blind and Sight Impaired Union (UICI) and Tactile Vision.
It features a circuit in the darkness led by blind persons, who will accompany blindfolded visitors along the helicoidal ramp to be guided in listening to famous music soundtracks, from the silent era to sound, from musicals to videoclips, from auteur cinema to horror. Cinema to be listened to, even before watching it.
Duration: 1 ½ hours. Cost: 5 € per person + Museum admission. Booking required at: info@tactilevision.it.
An experience that is as fascinating as it much as it is a novel one, which visitors at the National Cinema Museum in Turin will also be able to experience throughout the coming months. This initiative, organised in collaboration with the Italian Blind and Sight Impaired Union (UICI) in Turin and with the Tactile Vision Onlus association, is part of the packed agenda of events connected to the exhibition and will also be repeated on 19 May.
