For the occasion of the upcoming Spring bank holidays, Liberation Day (25 April) and Labour Day (1st May) the National Cinema Museum will always stay open for the entire period at the following hours:

On this occasion, in addition to the rich permanent collection, it will be possible to visit the great #SOUNDFRAMES. Cinema and Music on show exhibition, at the Museum until January 2019, illustrating the crossovers between cinema and music by means of an innovative and interactive layout.

Furthermore, guided tours are foreseen for discovering the Museum, the history of film and the exhibition.

Every day, from Wednesday 25 April to Tuesday 1st May:

11.00 a.m. the Games and tales before the Lumières - guided tour for children and families.

From shadowplay to the first animated pictures, in a tale developing through the discovery of the optical illusions and shows prior to the birth of cinema.

4.00 p.m., Discovering the Museum guided tour.

For getting to know the Museum and its wonders, from shadowplay to the Lumière brothers, up to the great stars in the history of film.
