Summer 2024 at the Museo Nazionale del Cinema of Turin
The Museo Nazionale del Cinema of Torino will be open throughout the summer with the following opening hours:
- Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday: 9:00 - 19:00
- Friday and Saturday (and August 15): 9:00 - 20:00 (last admission at 19:00)
- Weekly closing on Tuesdays (except August 13: special opening 9:00 - 19:00)
In addition to the rich permanent collection - which offers an exciting journey through the history of cinema lanterns to the most spectacular special effects of today and virtual reality - you can visit the current exhibitions:
- MOVIE ICONS. Hollywood Props sets until January 13, 2025 , the exhibition offers a journey through cinematic genres via iconic objects, costumes, memorailia, accompanied by posters and advertising materials from major Hollywood cult films of the last decades. Ticket included in the museum admission.
- TONINO DE BERNARDI. Cinema across borders : until September 9, 2024 a tribute to the avant-garde filmmaker from Turin, on display on the ground floor of the Mole Antonelliana, free admission.
Additional info:
- The Cupola Ascent on foot is suspended until 31 August. The Panoramic Lift service to reach the panoramic terrace will be regular.
- Cinema Massimo will be closed from July 18 to August 28, 2024.
- "Mario Gromo" Library / Mediatheque and Historical Archive will be closed from August 5 to 23, 2024.
