The MAGNIFICHE VISIONI (MAGNIFICENT VISIONS): Permanent Festival of Restored Film presents Sergej M. Eisenstein’s The Battleship Potemkin.

The National Cinema Museum presents Sergej M. Eisenstein’s film The Battleship Potemkin on Tuesday, 10 May 2011 at 8.45 p.m. in Cinema Massimo’s Screen Three, screening a copy restored by the Kulturstiftung des Bundes, with the support of the Bundesarchiv-Filmarchiv of Berlin, the British Film Institute of London, Filmmuseum München and Moscow’s Gosfilmofond. The screening has been timed to coincide with the 24th International Book Fair (Turin, Lingotto Fiere exhibition hall, 12-16 May), where this year the guest country will be Russia, alongside Italy. The film is one of the events in the new and exciting season of the MAGNIFICHE VISIONI (MAGNIFICENT VISIONS): Permanent Festival of Restored Film. Admission: 5.50/4.00/3.00 euros.
