The screening of Piccolo mondo antico will open the tribute showcase dedicated to Mario Soldati.

First date for the OLD FASHIONED WORLDS showcase, with the film screening of Piccolo mondo antico (Old fashioned world) by Mario Soldati, on Monday 3 February 2014 at 3.30 p.m., in the events room at the Library/Mediatheque. Introduced by Fabio Pezzetti Tonion.

Gifted with a versatile personality, at his ease both in literature and cinema and then television, over his career Mario Soldati established himself as a capable and refined “narrator” of diverse places, periods and characters. The OLD FASHIONED WORLDS. Mario Soldati’s cinema showcase is organised by the National Cinema Museum “Mario Gromo” Library/Mediatheque.
