The tribute to Krzysztof Kieslowski by the Cinema Museum will end with the screening of his Decalogue.

Cinema Massimo – 5/14 February 2016 – Screen Three

As a completion of the tribute showcase to Krzysztof Kieslowski – titled The metaphysics of sentiments and presented in December at the Cinema Massimo – the National Cinema Museum will end its tribute to this great filmmaker with the screening of the opus that projected him onto the international scene as a severe, anti-conformist and rigorous talent, The Decalogue. Admission 6.00/4.00/3.00 euro.

A monumental work in ten acts, inspired by the Ten Commandments and made for Polish television, each episode of the Decalogue has a different cast, but the figure of a silent testimonial is present in all of them, with the exception of episodes 7 and 10, a character who never speaks and who watches the unravelling of events mutely. The director never revealed the meaning of this character publicly, however.
