December’s CULT! evening features Morton DaCosta’s “Auntie Mame”

In view of the enormous success that Patrick Dennis's novel Auntie Mame - first published in the United States in 1955 and recently translated by Adelphi - is now enjoying in Italy, the National Museum of Cinema is dedicating its monthly CULT! evening to the film Auntie Mame. Directed by Morton DaCosta, the film was a box-office hit in the USA in 1959, and featured an extraordinary performance by Rosalind Russell. The novel also spawned a successful theatre production directed by Jerome Lawrence and Robert N. Lee. Admission: 4 euros.
