The CULT! appointment for January, is dedicated to Lombroso and the documentary entitled La Neuropatologia by Camillo Negro and Roberto Omegna

Cinema Massimo – 29 January 2010, 9.00 p.m.

During the recent reorganisation of the “Cesare Lombroso” Criminal Anthropology Museum, the National Cinema Museum – in conjunction with the Museum of Man – dedicates the regular monthly appointment CULT! to the restoration of the documentary La Neuropatologia, a film shot between 1906 and 1908 by Prof. Camillo Negro, a neuropsychiatry expert at the Cottolengo Hospital, and by Roberto Omegna, operator of the prestigious Ambrosio Film Production Company of Turin.

Entry will be free of charge and the event will take place on Friday 29 January at 9.00 p.m. on Screen Three of the Cinema Massimo. The film will be accompanied on piano by Maestro Stefano Maccagno and will be followed by a meeting with Adriano Chiò (Turin University, Department of Neuroscience), Marco Galloni (President of the Technological Scientific Archive of Turin University), Giacomo Giacobini ( Museum of Man, Turin University), Claudia Gianetto (National Cinema Museum), Silvano Montaldo (Museum of Criminal Anthropology).
