Bibliomediateca – from 4 to 10 march 2011

A roundtable discussion entitled VIAGGI NELLA SERIALITA’ (SERIAL JOURNEYS): The X-Files, Lost, Fringe: a certain tendency towards science-fiction for the DIALOGHI IN CORSO presentation of newly published books, DVDs and readings.

 

A roundtable discussion entitled VIAGGI NELLA SERIALITA’ (SERIAL JOURNEYS): The X-Files, Lost, Fringe: a certain tendency towards science-fiction for DIALOGHI IN CORSO. The talk, organised in partnership with the University of Turin’s DAMS college for the performing arts and the university film club Gli Ultracorpi, will focus on the genre of serialised science-fiction.

There will be contributions from: Giaime Alonge (University of Turin), Giulia Carluccio (University of Turin), Peppino Ortoleva (University of Turin) and Guglielmo Pescatore (University of Bologna). Introduction by Attilio Palmieri (University of Turin).

There will be a screening of the X-Files pilot episode: Pilot, USA 1993, and an episode of The Twilight Zone: Time Enough At Last (USA 1959).

 The first event in the SPERDUTI NEL BUIO? (LOST IN THE DARKNESS?) A history of Italy features a screening Piero Nelli’s film La pattuglia sperduta. Alfieri Canavero, the film’s director of photography, will be in attendance. Introduction: Hamilton Santià.  

 

The next event in the Bibliomediateca will be a screening of Piero Nelli’s film La pattuglia sperduta on Monday, 7 March 2011 at 3.30 p.m., as part of the SPERDUTI NEL BUIO? (LOST IN THE DARKNESS?) A history of Italy festival. Alfieri Canavero, the film’s director of photography, will be in attendance. Introduction by Claudia Hamilton Santià.

The SPERDUTI NEL BUIO? (LOST IN THE DARKNESS?) A history of Italy festival is the second in our 2011 season, organised by the National Cinema Museum in partnership with the Sperduti nel buio film group, and is one of the events organised by the National Cinema Museum in conjunction with Italia 150.
