For President. Stories on American presidents

 

For the occasion of the For President showcase (Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation, from 19 September 2012 to 6 January 2013), the National Cinema Museum presents the retrospective For President. Stories on American presidents, a cycle of films dedicated to the themes of presidential elections and of the mechanisms of American politics, from Monday 22 to Tuesday 30 October, on Screen Three at the Cinema Massimo. The retrospective will be inaugurated Monday 22 October 2012 at 8.30 p.m. on Screen Three at the Cinema Massimo, with the film screening of Advise and Consent by Otto Preminger, introduced by a meeting with Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo and Mario Calabresi. Admission: 6.00/4.00/3.00 euro.

For MAGNIFICENT VISIONS: The Permanent Festival of Restored Film, the National Cinema Museum presents the film La decima vittima (The tenth victim) by Elio Petri, in the 2K digital restoration by the National Cinema Museum and the Bologna Film Archives, Tuesday 23 October 2012 at 8.30 and 10.30 p.m., on Screen Three at the Cinema Massimo. Repeat screening Wednesday 24 October, at 4 p.m. Admission: 6.00/4.00/3.00 euro.
